Trash the dress on the beach

What is a trash the dress session?  TTD replaces the old tradition of preserving the wedding dress.  The bride realizes that this is the only day she will ever use it.  She also knows that her daughter (if applicable) will not want to wear mom’s dress at her wedding.  And, by “trashing” it, the bride symbolically says to her hubby, “I don’t need that any more.”

Brooke and Michael met us on the beach at Hilton Head at sunrise, the day after their wedding, for their “trash the dress” session.  Let us know what you think.

    Hi,

    Nice shots.
Does the bride still has her dress?
I might be interested in buying the trashed dress.
Please feel free to contact me.

    Wendy,

I just sent an email to the bride. I am not sure if she will get it or not because it was an email containing her maiden name. I gave her your email address to follow up with you.

    Melissa,

We simply schedule the sessions according to when you might be available. Are you in Charleston or Denver?

    Yay for Nikon! :)

Had to chuckle at the equipment question. I wonder how often Rachel Ray gets told that her food is delicious and then gets asked what kind of oven she uses…

Your TTD (and Birth photos too!) are beautiful. I aspire to such captures.
